*Dancing (Around Debris) in the Dark

By now I'm sure you're all used to a break in DHH postings, but this week-long dryspell was everything but intentional. Some of you may have been educated on the great Northwest windstorm, or more appropriately, disaster. Roughly 1.5 million people were left without power. There's also that whole flooding, falling trees, deaths, etc. In essence, I was in the heart of such a mess, and after 6 days of no power, I'm alive and kickin'. I'm not quite sure I could say I learn some valuable lessons. I did my best to stay away from home, going to the mall (the only place/town with power) and personally stimulating the economy. I also pinpointed one friend who in fact had power (after less than a day without it) and discovered the amazing wonders of the Nintendo Wii. Graphics Smaphics. This thing is hands down, undeniably revolutionizing the way we play video games. And yes, if you did not know, I love video games. So once the power went on, I raced over to Myspace to get my fix, then hit up my Tivo and watched all my preprogrammed entities. I feel like I just named dropped a lot right there. So yes, no musical discoveries. Just whatever got played in my car, which was Mylo, Justin Timberlake, Nelly Furtado (c'mon you love the Timbaland productions too), Decemberists, and Pete Yorn...

...Besides this song I just found looking for a themed track. It's reeeeeeal good:

The Artic Monkeys - "Leave Before the Lights Come On"
