Lost Highway sent me Willie Nelson's new album Songbird and was thoroughly pleased to see that my ever so favorite Ryan Adams was the producer. To boot, Adams, along with the rest of the "Cardinals" contributes to this nice little country album. Did I mention...a Leonard Cohen cover?! And oh yeah, the album comes out on Halloween.

Oh, I'm jealous! I keep asking at my independent record store here in Boulder, if they have an advance copy I can hear. The cuts I have heard sound great. I'm looking forward to it.
