*The Faces - "Ooh La La"

Every once in a while I listen to a song I had forgotten about, and fall in love with it all over again, sometimes even more so than the first (or perhaps fiftieth) time. This time around I started really listening to the lyrics and not just the music:

"Poor old granddad
I laughed at all his words
I thought he was a bitter man
He spoke of womens ways
Theyll trap you, then they use you
Before you even know
For love is blind and youre far too kind
Dont ever let it show"

Man oh man. Today I went to the record store to look for The Faces on vinyl and ended up with their Snakes and Ladders LP which includes "Ooh La La" among some other great tracks. I originally tried to avoid the album with "Ooh La La" because I wanted to seem like I knew more about the band and not just the song everyone knows by them, but the store owner suggested S&L so low and behold, it's sitting on my turntable.

*NOTE: for some reason I could only find an .M4A file of this on my computer, and I was too lazy to convert it. Guess you all will have to switch over to iTunes for this one.
